Support with investment-related disputes

We help review investment-related concerns, disputed payments and suspected fraud. Depending on the circumstances, support may include document review, bank enquiries and complaint preparation. Available remedies and outcomes vary by case.

Wire transfer refund and card chargeback

If you transferred funds to a fraudulent investment via wire transfer, debit card or credit card, there may be a way to recover the funds through your bank or card scheme. Card payments, in particular, are protected by chargeback rules that can apply when a service is misrepresented or not offered at all; However, these applications are time sensitive and must be properly justified.

We help you determine which payments are eligible, gather the evidence the bank or scheme will require, and prepare a clear application with the relevant supporting information. In cases where the bank is slow or indifferent, we will support you in escalating the issue to higher authorities and, when appropriate, involving authorities such as the DNB and the Dutch Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid).

Bank and card procedures may have deadlines. We help identify the relevant requirements; the bank or card provider decides whether a request is eligible.

Crypto and wallet monitoring

Many scams end with the victim sending Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, often through an exchange or app set up by the scammer. Victims are often told that this money cannot be traced. This is not true.

Blockchain transactions are permanently recorded and can be tracked. We track where your funds go, identify wallets and services that receive them, and identify exchanges or platforms that may freeze or refund assets when approached through the right legal and compliance channels.

This monitoring also strengthens the criminal complaint to the prosecutor's office; because it turns an uncertain loss into a documented money trail that investigators and institutions like FIU-Netherlands can act on.

Cross-border and EU applications

Investment fraud rarely stays in one country. The platform may be registered in one country, the payment institution may be registered in another country, and the receiving accounts may be registered in a completely different place. This is intentional and is exactly why many victims are told "there is nothing that can be done".

This is exactly what we were founded for. We coordinate applications across the EU and internationally, working with banks, payment institutions and counterparties in each relevant jurisdiction, and using cross-border cooperation frameworks to trace money wherever it goes.

The scope of any cross-border review depends on the available records, the jurisdictions involved and access to information. Tracing a transaction does not guarantee that funds can be recovered.

Regulatory and prosecutorial complaints

Reporting fraud to authorities is an important part of any recovery effort and must be done diligently. A well-prepared complaint registers your file, can trigger official action and supports parallel applications against banks or platforms.

We help you prepare and submit complaints to important authorities in the Netherlands; These include AFM for investment services, DNB for banking and payment issues, FIU-Netherlands for financial crime monitoring, and the Dutch police and Public Prosecution Service for criminal fraud. When the file crosses borders, we support the involvement of the right foreign authorities.

We ensure that your complaint is clear, evidenced and directed to the authority that can actually take action; Don't let it get lost in the wrong inbox.
